Do I need a gas block and a gas hose for my EPC?
No, the Aero Precision EPC works with a straight recoil system and does not require a gas block or gas hose, as is traditionally the case with other AR15s.
Is my EPC-9 compatible with third-party AR-9 parts?
It depends on we recommend using all Aero Precision parts in your EPC to avoid possible compatibility issues. However, the EPC is compatible with a wide variety of different parts.
Which calibres can my EPC-9 receiver set accept?
The EPC-9 receivers are compatible with 9mm and 40S&W.
Which magazines are compatible with the lower EPC-9 receivers?
The lower EPC-9 receiver is compatible with GLOCK G17 / G19 sample magazines with standard frames.
Which handguards are compatible with the EPC-9?
The EPC-9 accepts most AR15 traveling nut and handguard combinations that are compatible with Milspec top receivers.

No, the EPC-9 is caliber specific and only compatible with 9 mm / 40 parts and components. 10mm / 45 parts and components will hit the market in the future.

Which muzzle devices work on my EPC 9mm barrel?
The larger bore diameter of the 9 mm requires a 9 mm specific muzzle device, which allows a reasonable distance for the projectile. You also need to make sure that the muzzle jig has the correct thread pitch for your specific 9mm barrel (all 9mm Aero Precision barrels use 1/2 × 28 threads).
