American Hunter | Dickinson Introduces Royal Series Over/Under

For those hunters who want a classic highland weapon, Dickinson Arms has introduced the Royal Series Over / Under. The shotgun features a hand-removable sidelock that was designed with An intercepting safety trigger and an additional pin anchorage beyond the typical five-pin models. The receiver is located in a Turkish-walnut-colored shaft and is CNC-milled from a solid block of molybdenum-chrome steel. It is hardened with Bone Charcoal, which makes each weapon different from the other. Other embellishments include hand-engraved English scrolling on the receiver and 24 TPI checkerboard pattern on the barrel.

The Royal series isn’t just a pretty face, however. Dickinson also intends the gun for rugged, long-term performance. It has a

Gated barrel selector, automatic ejectors, heavy duty hammer springs and precision CNC machined internal components. It’s available in both 12-gauge and 20-gauge versions, and in a range of barrel lengths, including 24-, 26-, 28- and 30-inches, to cover a wide range of shooting styles. A carrying case and five thin-walled throttles are included with the weapon.
