American Rifleman | New for 2021: Taurus G3c

With its G-series pistols, Taurus continues to dominate the market for affordable handguns with concealed carrying comfort. The latest addition to the line, the G3c, brings you a compact, portable pistol with all the features you need at the price you need to afford.

The Taurus G3c incorporates many of the features found in the company’s other G3 handguns. However, the size and overall profile are tailored for convenient daily transportation. The Taurus G3c features a 3.2-inch barrel that sits in a package that is 6.3-inch overall length and 5.1-inch high, with no compromise on concealment.

One of the unique features of the Taurus G3c is its restartability. For the single-acting trigger, the action does not need to be repeated to re-cock the striker. This has several advantages. This way, you won’t just be able to pull the trigger again on a lap that might not have triggered the first time. The re-ignition function also allows you to practice dry fire without constantly having to switch weapons, which other strikers require. fired platforms.

The Taurus G3C has texture pads on the underside of the grip frame that anchor the weapon securely in the hand when firing. However, it is not aggressive enough to irritate those with more sensitive hands. The steel sled has a durable Tenifer finish and has deep, angled teeth at the front and rear that make it a solid purchase when the sled is parked.
