A 35,000-square-foot (11.5-acre) building in Sioux Falls, SD, is currently undergoing renovations that will soon centralize multiple operations for Silencer Central and become the fast-growing company’s new headquarters. The company currently employs 125 people across the country. By the end of the year, however, 100 employees are to be added to meet the demand for his services and oppressors.

The number of law-abiding citizens with an NFA tax stamp related to oppressors nearly doubled between 2016 and 2019. No figures are yet available for the record-breaking gun sales year 2020. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Yearbook The Firearms Commerce in the United States report shows that the number of owners with the required stamp and suppressor increased from 902,805 to 1,750,433 (from 2016 to 2019 ) has increased.

“Our growing business model has simplified the muffler purchase process across the country and has got our business running at full speed,” said Brandon Maddox, CEO of Silencer Central. “The rise in demand has enabled steady growth. We originally planned to build our own facility, but we found a unique opportunity here that we couldn’t pass up. We’re delighted that Silencer Central has been able to take possession of an uninhabited building here in Sioux Falls. “

The company’s success is due to the unique dropship model that Silencer Central pioneered. The company’s nationwide infrastructure allows them to send suppressors directly to consumers once they are NFA approved. The company also offers a streamlined NFA application process that makes buying suppressors easier than ever.

Kelly Young, Executive Editor of American Rifleman, has examined the company’s process from start to finish in this article. In addition to selling many popular suppressor models, Silencer Central also offers its own line of Banish suppressors that have been subjected to American Rifleman’s extensive testing protocol.
