Asheville PD : More than a pound of meth seized and 7 suspects charged after drug investigation | News

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) – On Wednesday, Asheville Police Department said they had conducted an investigation into which officers confiscated large quantities of narcotics, firearms and drug paraphernalia on Cordova Street.

Below is a list of the items that the police have confiscated:

  • 510 grams of methamphetamine
  • .25 caliber handgun
  • Bull 9mm
  • SCCY 9 mm
  • .308 rifle
  • $ 3,003

With the help of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, Asheville Police said they could charge and arrest 6 people.

A seventh person, Aaron Israel Meadows, was also charged with the incident. He was still wanted, but on Thursday evening APD reported that he had vomited himself.
