Century Arms MKE AP5 – Sootch00 review
The Century Arms MKE AP5 pistol is based on the HK MP5 and is manufactured by HK Machinery in Turkey. The AP5 or “Apparatus Pistol” is a roll-delay recoil weapon based on and built on the original and historical design from the 1970s. One of the reasons the Century Arms MKE AP5 is so popular is because of the delayed recoil action of the roller lock. This roller-delayed blowback action makes it one of the gentlest PDWs on the market.

Each Century Arms MKE AP5 model comes standard with: a sturdy plastic case, two (2) 30-round magazines, a factory cleaning kit, a factory-fitted Picatinny-style lens mount, a factory sling and a gun lock. All AP5 firearms have a 9 × 19 mm chamber and a cold hammer forged barrel with a rotation of 1: 9.8 ″. The AP5 and AP5-P barrels have a 3-tab quick-release fastener and a 1/2 × 28 threaded end for mounting options for the silencer.
The quality and technology behind this pistol are hard to beat. This design provides sharp and smooth shots, and controls are quick to learn. The sides are easy to see and how sharp the gun is makes it so fun to shoot.
What sets it apart from the other clones on the market is that this pistol is made on German HK machines. The parts are compatible with HK parts and there are a ton of accessories available for the aftermarket.
