LISBON – A preliminary hearing and trial has been scheduled for March 8th in the District Court for Christopher R. Steele, 34, Grove Alley, East Liverpool. He was charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Emily Lawson on February 27 by kicking her door. Put her in a stranglehold, pull her back down a hall, and hit her in the back of the head several times. He is also being charged with criminal harm for allegedly slitting a tire on Lawson’s 2005 Dodge van and breaking the jam door.
Daniel L. Iden, 34, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, was fined $ 1,125. He spent three days in jail, had to attend a three-day driver intervention program, and ordered a 40-hour community service for OVI’s first offense on gun for a Glock 17, a nine-millimeter pistol that Iden loaded and drunk on February 19 wore. The gun was destroyed by the Highway Patrol.
Vicky J. Grindle, 48, Woodsdale Road, Hanoverton, was fined $ 875, suspended her license for one year, credited three days for participating in a three-day intervention program, sentenced to an additional three days in prison, and 40 hours requires community service for OVI first offense.
A preliminary test was scheduled for April 12th for Randy P. Witherow, 53, Hanover Road, Salineville.
Ryan William Ross, 23, Walnut Street, Washingtonville, was fined $ 350 for riding under suspension.
Matthew W. Juillerat, 30, Youngstown, was fined $ 500, jailed for one day, sentenced to an additional four days in prison, and took 40 hours of community service for two cases of drug paraphernalia possession – one for a digital scale with white powder residue and a glass tube on September 25th and the other for a crack pipe and small straws with white residue on September 27th.
A trial on April 15 was scheduled for Michael R. Craig, 41, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, who was charged with possession of substance abuse instruments and paraphernalia. On Monday, Craig allegedly had a hypodermic needle and glass bottle with a piece of cotton soaked in brown debris in a green drawstring that was found during a traffic obstruction assisted by K-9 Argo and his patrol officer Steve LaRosa.
Michael Collins III, 25, Youngstown, was scheduled to have a trial on April 6th, cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a residue digital scale on February 18th.
Tyler R. McCullough, 23, of Lowellville, was fined $ 250 for riding under suspension.
Jacob Greathouse, 23, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $ 200 for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
Dakota A. Herron, 19, Woodsdale Road, Salem, was fined $ 300.
William H. Reph, 19, of Canfield, was fined $ 200 for not having a motorcycle endorsement or temporary license violation.
