Deborah Farmer Vickery, 72 – Winchester Sun

Deborah Farmer Vickery, 72, died March 23, 2021. She was from Norton, Virginia, and was the daughter of Frank N. and Mary E. Farmer. In addition to her parents, Debby also survived her two sons Ross Gordon Reasor Jr. and William David Kennon, a sister Rebecca Farmer from Winchester and a granddaughter Sunshine Noel Kennon from Lexington.

Debby moved to Winchester with her family in 1957. She was a member of Winchester First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the Blue Angel Choir, and a member of the Marietta Mansfield Circle. She was also a Brownie Scout and a Girl Scout. After graduating from George Rogers Clark High School, she worked briefly for the C&P Phone Company and retired from Osram Sylvania after 35 years. Debby was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching ice skating competitions on television. You’ve rarely seen them without the Ale-8 or Sprite and their all-time favorites, Reese’s Cups.

A service will be held at Clarmont Memorial Gardens, USA 60 on Saturday, March 27, at 11:00 am, attended by Rev. Farley Stewart. Reminder contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Dr., Winchester, Ky 40391, or First United Methodist Church, 204 South Main St., Winchester, KY 40391 The family urges everyone present to to wear a mask.
