Franklin County woman charged with attempted murder

A Franklin County woman was arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter after ramming her husband’s car off the street Friday night. They were responding to a car accident on McDowell Road in Peters Township on Friday night, according to Chambersburg Police. A police investigation revealed that the victim was driving to work when she passed Christina Aiken, who was driving in the opposite direction. Police said Aiken turned around, followed the victim, and rammed his car multiple times, causing a tire to burst. The victim then lost control of his vehicle and fell. Aiken has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. Police said the victim claimed Aiken also had a semi-automatic pistol during the incident, and state police arrested Aiken at her home without incident.

According to the Chambersburg police, they responded to a car accident on McDowell Road in Peters Township on Friday evening. A police investigation revealed that the victim was driving to work when it passed Christina Aiken, who was driving in the opposite direction.

According to police, Aiken turned around, followed the victim and rammed his car several times, causing a tire to burst. The victim then lost control of his vehicle and fell.

Aiken has been charged with attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

Police said the victim claimed Aiken also had a semi-automatic pistol during the incident.

The state police arrested Aiken at her home without incident.
