In just over a month, Jamel Orlando Brathwaite will find out his fate for illegally possessing two guns and 43 rounds of ammunition just over a year ago.

Brathwaite of Kirtons No. 3, St. Philip, was back before the No. 4 Supreme Court on Wednesday after previously admitting he had a 45 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol. March 2019.

The court heard that he had been in custody for 720 days so far. He later apologized “for the situation I got myself into”.

“I’m not a person known to the court or the police station and I want you to take this into account,” he said after initially stating that he had nothing to say. (HLE)
