Man Charged With Attempted Homicide In City Shooting – ButlerRadio.com

A butler is taken into custody for attempted murder following a shooting in Butler town.

City police said they responded to a call for gunfire on Mitchell Avenue early Monday morning.

Following their investigation, police said 41-year-old Darnell Wynn had become a suspect. After several attempts to contact him, police finally took him into custody after issuing a search warrant for a house on State Street.

Police say Wynn allegedly fired multiple shots at a vehicle that was trying to leave the area. The case and the vehicle were both recovered.

An additional search of the house revealed a semi-automatic pistol, about two ounces of crack cocaine and 10,000 stamp bags of heroin.

Wynn is now being charged with attempted murder and drug possession.
