Glock model 29 pistol 10mm
CONCORD — The Merrimack man who, in early May, allegedly gave false statements while purchasing a pair of pistols from a Hooksett gun dealer, was arrested last week and is now under federal indictment, according to US Attorney for New Hampshire Jane E. Young.
Leith Sukkar, 22, faces one count of making a false statement during the acquisition of a firearm. He was picked up in Manchester and was scheduled for an initial court appearance the following day.
According to Young, the original complaint filed in court alleges that on May 3, Sukkar made a false statement during the purchase of a Glock model 29 10mm pistol, and a Glock model 43 9mm pistol, from Shooter’s Outpost, a federally licensed firearms dealer in Hooksett.
Sukkar allegedly falsely represented that he was the actual purchaser of the firearms, when, in fact, he was purchasing the firearms for another person, according to Young.
Involved in the investigation were members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Manchester Police Department Special Investigations Unit and the New Hampshire State Police.
