Kenneth Leon Looney Sr., 71, Mountain Home (Kirby)

Kenneth Leon Looney, Sr., 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Kenneth was born on October 25, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, to Marcus and Dolores Vialpando Looney. He graduated from Franklin High School in Stockton, California. Ken served in the United States Navy from 1971 until he retired as a Master Chief Electronic Technician. He married Beverly Stevens on March 18, 1996 in Mountain View, Arkansas. He was a member of the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #263, Mountain Home Elks Lodge #1714, and the VFW Post #3246. He enjoyed traveling and especially loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife, Beverly Looney of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Steven (Tiffany) Looney of Promise Land, AR, and Kenneth (Deyette) Looney, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR; three daughters, Stacey (Chris) Khan of Stockton, CA, Shawntell Looney of Mountain Home, AR, and Emilee Sconiers Alter of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Brad Looney of Cabot, AR; sister, Gerrie Morgan of Mountain Home, AR; 15 grandchildren, Cera Sconiers, Kayla (Landon) Booy, Kristen Khan, Miranda Khan, Christopher Khan II, Christopher Garcia, Parker Alter, Kenneth Looney III, Melia Burns, Sydney Skinner, Stevie Kay Looney, Kassidy Looney, and Kayden Looney; and seven great-grandchildren, Addison Booy, Fynleigh Booy, Teagan Booy, Bhretton Booy, Brooklyn Bellasco, Brixton Bellasco, Aiden Khan.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Michael and Julian Sconiers.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Josh Pardue officiating. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Navy Honor Guard.

Memorial donations may be made in Kenneth’s name to Elite Hospice, 330 Hwy 5 North, Suite 20, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
