
LIVERMORE, CA — A Ceres man with an arrest warrant out of Napa County was arrested in Livermore Tuesday for possessing methamphetamine, fentanyl, and deinialized ghost guns.
Livermore police officers patrolling Lassen Road early Tuesday morning noticed a vehicle belonging to a man with an arrest warrant for vandalism and on parole for making criminal threats, the Livermore Police Department said.
Officers searched his motel room and found methamphetamine and fentanyl. They also searched his car and found an deinialized AR-15-style rifle, an AK-47 assault rifle, and ammunition.

Police say the man, whom they did not identify, is a convicted felon barred from owning ammunition. He was arrested on several charges, including possessing an assault rifle and possessing a controlled substance while armed, and transported to Santa Rita Jail.
The arrest comes a few days after Livermore police responded to two shootings over the course of two days.
