Parolee Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Loaded Handgun

SAN JACINTO (CNS) – A documented gang member paroled for attempted murder was arrested for allegedly holding a loaded pistol, sheriff officials said today. Ramon Mora, 39, was arrested after the vehicle he was driving in was run over by MPs on Lake Park Drive and Soboba Springs Drive around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. During a parole examination of the vehicle, MPs found a loaded 9mm pistol with an expanded high-capacity magazine, according to Sgt. Ian Baily. Mora was arrested and admitted to the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of multiple gun crimes. She remained detained without bail. Charlotte Arres, who was behind the wheel, was arrested on suspicion of driving while drunk and carrying a gun that was no longer there
