Ryobi 18V One+ Dual Temperature Glue Gun P307
Ryobi Dual Temperature Glue Gun increases your control
Hot glue can be incredibly useful in a variety of different applications. Many hot glue guns limit their use with a temperature setting and an applicator nozzle. Ryobi now has a hot glue gun that puts you back in control of the application. The Ryobi P307 double temperature hot glue gun has two working temperatures and a few nozzles to tailor your glue to your specific job.
What’s the big deal?
The new tool has three clear advantages. First, you can use glue sticks on more delicate materials or pens with lower melting temperatures. Second, it has an integrated drip tray. If only I had this when I dripped hot glue on my finger last month! Finally, it heats up in just 2 minutes.
Ryobi has been improving its hot glue game for several years with the P305 “meat and potatoes” model and the compact P306 hot glue gun. But the Ryobi P307 Dual Temp Glue Gun could be our new favorite.
With the Ryobi Dual Temperature Glue Gun you can choose between two heat settings. The 248ºF setting is ideal for heat sensitive materials, while the 320º setting is best for bonding structures.
And if that doesn’t give you enough versatility, the Ryobi Dual Temperature Glue Gun also includes 3 nozzle tips for a variety of different applications: a standard tip, a precision tip and a spreading tip.
Other functions of the Ryobi P307
- Fold-out drip tray to keep work areas clean
- Fast heating-up time of 2 minutes
- LED indicator light changes color when ready to use

At least in appearance, the Ryobi P307 is similar to the older P305 model. However, it’s a little difficult to actually compare the two models as Ryobi decided not to clearly pinpoint the specs of the older model. They both work on the same battery platform and both use 1/2-inch full size glue sticks. That being said, we’re assuming the Ryobi Dual Temp Glue Gun offers a more refined approach.
The P306 Compact Glue Gun offers another option from the Ryobi stall for cordless glue guns. This one heats up a little hotter, but you are limited to one temperature. It takes longer to heat up and mini glue sticks are used.
However, where the Ryobi Dual Temperature Glue Gun offers a refined and versatile approach to hot glue, the P306 has an extremely compact and portable system. It’s also roughly half the price of the P307.

The P307 dual temperature glue gun is slated for release in April. As you’d expect, this Ryobi glue gun is sold exclusively at Home Depot. It comes with a 3 year warranty and a retail price of $ 49.97 for the bare tool.
