The UNCG males’s basketball workforce faces Furman Faculty twice this week

The UNCG men’s basketball team will play two key games against Furman over the next three days. A preview:

UNCG (8-2, 13-5) at Furman (5-3, 11-6)

The teams will meet again on Wednesday at 5pm (ESPNU) at Self-defense Coliseum. Furman suffered a 75:67 defeat against Wofford on Saturday. … UNCG leads the league 8-2, with Wofford 9-3, East Tennessee State 7-3 and Furman 5-3. … Isaiah Miller of UNCG, the third top scorer of all time, leads the team on average 18.6 points per game and is in second place with 6.7 rebounds. Miller is also second in assists after Keyshaun Langley (62, after Langley’s 67) and leads with 39 steals. … Miller averages 18.7 points per league game and is third in the south. Furmans Mike Bothwell is fourth with 18.6 points. … Furman is third in the south with 77.5 points per league game, and UNCG is first in defense with 65.9 points.
