UPDATE: Three people detained for guns stolen in Elk Run home invasion | News
ELK RUN HEIGHTS – Three people were arrested in connection with numerous guns stolen in a robbery in Elk Run Heights.
Evansdale Police arrested Daymion Eugene Ohrt, 20, of 919 Wellington Street in Waterloo for robbery and first degree conspiracy.
Waterloo Police Department officials arrested Davon Marcell Oliver, 21, of 115 Irving Street in Waterloo on Thursday for eight crimes involving the possession of a firearm.
You are currently being detained at Black Hawk County Prison in Waterloo, without bond.
A 14-year-old girl was also arrested for fourth degree theft. Police said it carried weapons and traded stolen weapons.
According to court records, Ohrt was planning a robbery to get firearms from a relative’s home on Marie Ave. 228 to steal. Three people broke into the house at around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and forced a resident at gunpoint to open a gun safe. The attackers fled with firearms and two cell phones.

Investigators received information about the crime and carried out two search warrants early Thursday.
According to court records, officers arrested Oliver while searching 6111 Stardust Drive around 1:15 a.m. on Thursday. They found seven guns that were stolen during the robbery in Elk Run Heights.
