Walther starts new website for Walther productsWalther Arms
FORT SMITH, Arkansas –– (Ammoland.com) – Walther Arms, Inc, the US-based organization of Carl Walther GmbH in Germany, has launched a new website showcasing the entire 2013 line of German pistols and tactical rimfire replicas.
The website is intended to inform potential dealers, customers and enthusiastic shooters about the Walther portfolio of firearms. The new URL is www.WaltherArms.com and was launched on January 1, when the strategic alliance with Walther and Smith-Wesson expired.
“Our goal was to put together a high quality website that would be both educational and informative, and that would appeal to a wide variety of audiences in the hope that they would then visit their local retailer for a closer look, and then our products to buy, “said Mark Thomas. Marketing Director of Fort Smith-based Walther Arms, Inc.
“We had to make sure everyone could find what they were looking for with a maximum of three clicks, and we did. Now that we’re up and running, we’ll be improving the website over the coming months. “
Walther Arms Products pageThomas says the launch was the first marketing tool for Walther Arms, Inc and is only in its early stages. The second phase includes a lively e-commerce area, a simple online product registration portal and a private area where working media can learn more about Walther products and access product photography. Completion is planned for the end of the first quarter of 2013.
The highlights of the website in 2013 include new Walther products, including function diagrams, popular accessories, links to Walther’s Facebook (www.facebook / waltherarms) and Twitter social media websites (@WaltherFirearms). The new website offers easy top and side navigation, large, full color beauty shots of Walther products, and exploding diagrams of product features that work on all mobile devices as well as traditional computers.
The site development was led by Walther’s e-marketing specialist Joe McCoy and designed by Papagalos Strategic Communications, Phoenix, Arizona.
