Woman accused of sticking gun in Muhlenberg County deputy’s face

SOUTH CARROLLTON, Ky. (WBKO) – The Mühlenberg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at South Carrollton Methodist Church on March 9, 2021, in which Sergeant Wade Griggs found a black limousine manned by a man behind the church a woman. The man appeared to be severely under the influence of a controlled substance and complained about being too drunk to be arrested.

While Sgt. Griggs tried to get EMS for the man on site. Police said the woman leaned back in the vehicle with a loaded 9mm pistol in Sgt. Griggs’ face. It is said that the man then ran while the woman was arrested.

The man was later found hiding in a nearby store. During a search of the vehicle, MPs said several containers of methamphetamine were discovered along with a loaded 12-gauge pump gun.

Sgt Griggs arrested and charged Victoria Perry, 32, of Browns, Ill., Trafficking in grade 1 controlled substances (methamphetamine) and the attempted murder of a police officer.

Sgt. Griggs arrested Brandon Sikes, 40, of Cloverport, Kentucky, on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine (firearm improved). Both suspects were taken to the Mühlenberg district internment camp.
