Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 power plant
Zendure SuperBase Pro offers powerful, portable backup performance
Zendure, a California-based company specializing in portable power solutions, has expanded its product line by entering the power plant market. The Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 Power Station offers great performance and capacity, fast charging speeds, an extensive list of output options, and a footprint that promotes mobility. The SuperBase Pro offers power backup for emergencies or to keep you stylish while camping (glamping?)
The portable and durable SuperBase Pro
Zendure designed the SuperBase Pro 2000 Power Station like a short, thick case. That way, you can easily move it to and from the construction site, campsite or wherever you need electricity. It even comes with a telescopic handle and a firm grip, and the wheels are bigger enough to move the 46-pound. Power plant over uneven terrain. The design even allows items to be stacked on the power plant like conventional luggage.
Yes, you can go glamping in a teepee.
The SuperBase Pro also has ribs along the top and back that provide some physical collision resistance. Meanwhile, Zendure has also strengthened the internal shock protection components so that it can withstand real-world use and weather.
Great capacity and performance
The Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 Power Station has a battery capacity of 2,096 Wh. It has an impressive output of 2,000 W with an overvoltage capacity of 4,000 W. With these kinds of numbers, the SuperBase Pro is ideal for providing plenty of emergency power to keep powerful devices on Keep going.
We hooked up a 15 amp DeWalt vacuum cleaner next to two LED work lights and ran it on high for over 90 minutes before the battery ran out. It only took about two hours to charge on a 20A, 120V connection.
For camping applications, Zendure’s power plant can provide long-term power to a wide variety of devices, including laptops, mini-fridges, projectors, LED lights, and more.
We have no idea why he is cutting 2 × 3 on a picnic table bench, but we were too scared to ask him as he had a live chainsaw in hand …
Pure sine wave output
Zendure has also incorporated its AmpUp technology into the design. This technology enables the SuperBase Pro to operate devices up to 2000W, which enables you to operate high-powered devices and power tools such as induction cookers, vacuum cleaners, chainsaws, drills and motorized devices.
Basically, AmpUp is a dynamic voltage output technology where the power plant lowers the output voltage to compensate for when a device starts drawing a high current. This means that you can use most devices without interference thanks to the overload protection. Zendure tells us that it is completely safe and will maintain a pure sine wave to power sensitive electronics (like refrigerators and medical devices).

The Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 Power Station also has a household-quality uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Basically, you can connect the Power Station to an AC power source and it will also provide power to your connected devices. In the event of a power failure, the UPS functions and automatically switches to battery power to avoid power interruptions.
Zendure also designed the SuperBase Pro 2000 so that you can charge it very quickly. They tell us that when connected to 1,800 W AC, the SuperBase Pro reaches 80% charge in one hour. It reaches full charge in two hours.
Assuming some users will be off-grid, however, Zendure also developed the SuperBase Pro 2000 with PVMax technology that allows you to stick a solar panel in the side and charge it that way. They even claim to use similar charging times when solar panels are used to charge the device. It comes with an MC4 to AC jack cable so you can plug in 1,800W solar panels to take advantage of the fast solar charging speeds.
In total, Zendure offers up to six ways to charge the SuperBase Pro, all with different charging speeds:
|Charging method||Input voltage||Time to fully charge|
|AC socket||1,800W||2 hours|
|Solar panels via AC input||Up to 1,800 W.||2 hours|
|Solar modules via XT60 input||Up to 600W||4 hours|
|Car charger||120W max||19 hours|
|AC + DC (XT60)||Up to 2,400W||1.5 hours|
Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 power plant outputs
The Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 Power Station has 14 output ports. Here is the breakdown of the offer:
- 6 x alternating current: 2,000 W max (100-120 V)
- 1 x car socket: 13.6V / 10A 136W Max
- 3 x DC5521: 13.6 V / 10 A Max. 136 W Max.
- USB-C (1): 5V-20V, 100W Max
- USB-C (2): 5V-20V, 100W Max
- USB-C (3) (4): 5V-12V, 20W max. Total
Note that the 136W refers to the combined maximum output power of the car socket and the DC5521 ports together.
Location-based services and CO2 reduction
According to the brand, Zendures SuperBase 2000 Pro is the first power plant to offer location-based services. It uses a built-in 4G IoT connection that allows you to manage your power plant from almost anywhere (as long as you have a 4G signal). With the companion app from Zendure for your smartphone or tablet, you can check the location, state of charge and output of the power plant in real time. You can also adjust settings, schedule charging for energy-saving times and switch to different operating modes from the app in no time at all.
The companion app also tracks the total carbon reduction achieved through the use of SuperBase Pro 2000. When you’ve gathered a certain amount of green energy, Zendure has worked with the OneTreePlanted Foundation to plant a tree on your behalf.
